January is famously a month for fresh starts, resolutions and new habits! But oftentimes we find ourselves slipping away from those shiny new resolutions just weeks after we make them. Join us for a gentle reset where we will slow down and reconnect to the big picture, letting the details fall away for a but. The holidays can put us in an activated state and sometimes that leads us to creating impractical goals for ourselves that leave us feeling depleted or disappointed when we can’t meet them. We will use the soothing power of sound to bring ourselves back to center, tune in to the right-brain mind and envision what it is we want, not just to do or accomplish this year, but to feel and embody in 2024. Through guided meditation and breath work we will practice the way we want to feel when we accomplish our goals. We will reset our new year intentions through a relaxed nervous system and re-vision our resolutions so that we can commit to goals that work with our natural rhythms, not against them. This sound bath will be about finding areas of ease in the body and magnifying those feelings so that we can recognize them in our other world. The more we practice feeling the way we want to feel, the easier it is to recognize and magnetize that in the world around us.
This is an all-ages event. We encourage you to bring anything you wish to be comfortable, though mats, blankets and bolsters will be provided. It is recommended that you bring an eye shade for deeper relaxation. All are welcome to stay for tea afterwards.
